Expanding Options and Providing TranspArEncY.
To our treasured FCMS community,
We are incredibly proud of the progress and learning experiences we’ve had over the past two years as we’ve grown our studio and worked to reduce barriers within the wellness and fitness industry. Financial accessibility has always been a concern in the boutique fitness world, and when we opened, we introduced a sliding scale program as a first step toward addressing this issue.
By offering the sliding scale, we were able to start meaningful conversations around accessibility. However, given the current rate of inflation and the ways our sliding scale was utilized, we’ve encountered challenges in sustaining our offerings while maintaining the quality of instruction and individualized attention that we consider essential to our unique fitness approach.
To continue serving our community without compromise, we are shifting away from the sliding scale model. Beginning January 1, 2025, we will transition to both a Class Pass Membership Model and an Unlimited Membership Model. These new options will help us continue to evolve as a business while ensuring the continuation of the high standard of teaching you’ve come to expect.
What This Means for You
If you’re on a current membership contract, you’ll be able to see it through to completion.
After your contract ends—or if you decide to cancel—you’ll be invited to choose a new package or membership that aligns with both your needs and how frequently you take classes
We remain committed to delivering a premium fitness experience led by impeccable, highly-trained instructors. We also understand that even an Unlimited Membership can go unused if it isn’t structured to fit individual needs. That’s why we believe these new membership models will not only be more equitable for many in our community but also encourage a more intentional and excited approach to your movement practice.
We realize conversations around socio-economic privilege and accessibility are complex and nuanced. This change may mean some individuals face additional barriers, and we acknowledge how difficult that can be. Though we are wholeheartedly a community, we must also make decisions that keep our business operating sustainably. Our hope is to continue this conversation into the future as we grow, adapt, and find new ways to make our services as accessible as possible.
We thank you for your understanding and continued support of FCMS. We can’t wait to keep moving, growing and thriving together.
With the upmost gratitude,
Lola, Sandra + The FCMS Crew
